Upcoming Music: The Shape – Invisible Wolves
Tired of searching for the next big thing in metal? Look no further than The Shape. The Shape recently revealed their upcoming single, Invisible Wolves, is releasing on June 25th, 2021. The single follows up on their two songs released in 2021, Doctor Plague and The Parasomniac. Invisible Wolves was written by co-founders Brian Almeida and Chris Carlino, who formed the band in 2006. With their last releases experimenting with progressive metal, thrash metal, and melodic death metal influences, Invisible Wolves highlights the evolution of the band since their earlier releases.
The Shape has been a steady and popular live force in the Connecticut, New England, and East Coast music scenes for the past 15 years, having toured and played over 600+ performances, recorded 6 albums, and an EP. “The World Away,” released in 2017, was The Shape’s breakout album, debuting at #1 on the Billboard Northeast album rankings, #24 on the Hard Rock album chart, and #192 on the Billboard 200. The album yielded the charting mainstream rock singles “The World Away” and “Where The Sun Sleeps,” as well as strong playing in metal and college radio for fellow song “Where The Sun Sleeps.”
