Who is Cayo?

Cayo, whose real name is Samar Jackson, has been making waves recently. Cayo’s distinctive voice and his ability to utilize it in a variety of ways make him a standout rapper. His sound is much more melodic and you can find him singing in a lot of his tracks. With his melodies and unique voice, he creates an immensely fresh sound. His newest song, Late has become ubiquitous on Tiktok, with the song going viral. In addition, it has been streamed over 7 million times despite only being released for less than 5 months. This track will knock your socks off with its heavy-hitter beat and powerful bass. Cayo’s vocals fit perfectly with this beat, providing a perfect counterpoint to the heavy bass. Almost 2 million people have watched the Late music video on YouTube since April 1, 2022. 

Throughout 2021 and 2022, Cayo consistently released singles and EPs. As he continuously switches up his style and flows from pluggnb to drill or hyper pop beats, he keeps fans guessing. Each of his albums, Deerpark, Sample City 2, Deja Vu, and Planet Drool, to name a few, feature a different sound. Incredible, his newest album, released on June 24, 2022, showcases his versatility.
