The Evolution of Nesto
From the gritty streets of Camden, New Jersey, Nesto, born Ernesto Ramos, moved to Fresno, California to follow his rap career. Over the past few years, Nesto has established his presence in the west coast and underground rap scenes with a series of impressive singles, EPs, and albums, notably the Underway series, which features two extended plays and a full length project. Nesto’s lyricism, performance, and music overall has dramatically improved over time – and in this article we’ll cover how his music has improved since he first started releasing music through three projects.
Streets Been Callin
Over the past few years, Nesto has released a series of EPs and his first full length album, Trap on 1000. Preluding his debut album, Nesto released a four track EP, Streets Been Callin’, on all digital streaming platforms.
Green Light
Since 2018, Camden, NJ-born, Fresno, CA-based rapper Nesto, born Ernesto Ramos, has been grinding hard. On the Familia mixtape, presented by 520Promotions, Nesto released Green Light, the 26th track on the project. Listen to the track and the full mixtape here.
Underway, Volume 3
On October 9th, 2020, Nesto released his second full length project, and the final episode in the Underway trilogy, Underway Vol. 3. The 9 track project hears Nesto delivering his best performance yet, with singles like Stars and Top Down ranking as some of his best to date.
