Hey, thanks for chatting with us. Tell us a little about yourself.
Thanks for having me. I am a hip-hop musical artist and songwriter from Woodbridge, VA. I’ve been rapping for a long time and decided to show myself once the COVID pandemic emerged in late 2019. I’m a storyteller—my songs reflect interactions, life situations, and ideas. We all live one life, and I try to live mine to the fullest by breaking norms, generational curses, and accomplishing milestones as I let the world know who I am and what I’m about. I have partnered with Alivdshoes and created my own shoe line named REAPER. My collaboration with Wiz Khalifa on “Options” has been one of my biggest hits. That song—and the rest of my musical portfolio—has garnered buzz, totaling over 5 million streams across platforms, iTunes charting, and an Honorable Mention in the ISC 2023 Songwriting Competition.
Who or what inspired you to start making music? And, when did you start?
I began rapping when I was 13 years old. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony inspired me when they released their song “Tha Crossroads.”
What is your biggest challenge as an artist?
Funding. It’s tough when you don’t have the money to make your biggest desires happen—the machine helps with that. There are always conflicting ideas between staying true to yourself and doing things your way versus doing what you’re told.
What is your favorite project or single you have released?
“Options” & “One Life.”
Who are your inspirations? What artists or bands are you listening to?
My early inspirations have been Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, Tech N9ne, Twista, 2Pac, and Jadakiss. As I’ve improved my craft, living life itself inspires me to rap about what I go through as well as what’s around me.
What’s the process behind working on a song like?
I typically listen closely to the components of the musical composition. I let the beat drive what I should create as an artist, and then I let my thoughts and ideas come to life.
Tell me about your upcoming music and what inspired you to create it!
“One Life” is my favorite track to date. This single is about living in the moment—following your dreams and aspirations. We all live one life and shouldn’t have any regrets about what we want to do and came here to do. I express this freely in the song, and it symbolizes my mindset in its entirety.
What are your plans for 2026?
My plans are to continue growing my fanbase and brand and to start doing live performances in the near future. I want to get more eyes and ears on my music, gain broader recognition, and submit my music for sync licensing opportunities.
Have any shoutouts?
Big thanks to my family, friends, and fans. Special thanks to my wife, Shaun, Curtis, Travis, and Jay P for continuously pushing me toward my musical goals and aspirations.
