Who is NURAV?

Are you searching for the next big thing in rock music? If you are, Varun Kohli, a.k.a. NURAV, is someone you need to have on your radar. He’s an emerging talent from Texas that is leaving thousands speechless, with over 42,000 listeners streaming his debut single, You Know, more than 100,000 times on Spotify alone. The track is a romantic and catchy rock ballad that feels like it would be right at home in the middle of a romantic comedy movie. The song is a message to a lover who, as NURAV sings, knows that she makes him “want to drive down (her) highway for a while,” in the hook of the song. NURAV has a unique voice but sings his heart out, with the intro and outro of the song showcasing his ability to construct a hit record for radio and playlists. 

“I didn’t know that love could fill this heart, but you and I are not the same,” NURAV pleads with his lover. The story tells the tale of heartbreak and trying to save a relationship. It makes you think of the scene in movies where the ex-boyfriend pleads for his girlfriend back playing music for her outside of her window.  NURAV is establishing himself as a serious artist with You Know, and people are taking notice. Even on YouTube, the music video, depicting NURAV and another NURAV singing at a show in the metaverse, has reached over 3,200 views. “I am in the process of making another song in the meantime as well that shouldn’t be too long before it’s ready,” NURAV told us in a recent interview. Varun is a talent that you don’t want to take your eyes off, and we know that only bigger and better things are coming for the Texas-based recording artist. With only one song out, he’s putting in the hours to his next single to ensure it will only be bigger and better than You Know.
