Up Now: BBY GOYARD
“I think she love me, I’m the only one she calls” BBY GOYARD sings over Mixed Matches production on The Ugly Truth. BBY GOYARD’s music is some of the most authentic content coming out of the underground scene. His vocals are ethereal, mystic, aggressive, yet soothing simultaneously. What’s incredible about Goyard’s music is his incredibly diverse set of styles. Goyard’s unedited voice shows on 5 Pills Deep as he raps “I think I got outstanding warrants in my city so I had to go and fucking run it up” while his Little Alterboy esque auto-tuned vocals explode on his hit single Run Shannon Run. Goyard is not only incredibly diverse, but incredibly consistent. ELEVATOR states:
BBY GOYARD IS ONE OF THE FEW SOUNDCLOUD RAPPERS STILL PUSHING BOUNDARIES WITH EXPERIMENTAL SOUNDS
BBY GOYARD has a number of affiliations that he frequently shouts out in his music: (1500, SSX, and BMG) along with a pseudonym, Lil Shannon, he often references in his songs. His original rap name was Pilt Chamberlain, a clear reference to Philadelphia basketball superstar Wilt Chamberlain. He is a frequent collaborator of Cash Cache, PPG CASPER, DJPHATTT, Goji, and Lil Xelly (featured in Up Now #1). BBY GOYARD exploded after the release of his single Run Shannon Run and the music video on Internet Hippy. BBY GOYARD has been featured on a number of channels and publications such as ELEVATOR and InternetHippy. Check out Run Shannon Run on ELEVATOR:
Goyard recently signed to Ultra Records after his friend, BIGBABYGUCCI, signed to Pay Day Records. Ultra is known for electronic and dance music; we expect Goyard to link up with some EDM talent soon, and are excited to hear what’s in store from his label. Goyard’s influences are clearly varied. He’s got pop punk, trap, electronic, pop, and rap vibes throughout his music. His pop punk influences can be seen on All Time Low.
“ALL TIME LOW, LIKE DEAR MARIA.”
