An Interview with Nesto – Camden, NJ, Meek Mill, Future, and Yola

We had the chance to sit down with Meek Mill and Future inspired emcee Nesto, from Camden, NJ, for an exclusive interview.  

Hey! Introduce yourself. Where are you from? 

I am originally from Camden, NJ. I go by Nesto, nothing more, nothing less.

When did you start making music?

I began writing when I was ten years old.

Who inspired you to start making music?

I had a co- worker who went by the nickname M-16 who encouraged me to get started again.

How would you describe your music style? 

Rap. 

Who are you listening to now?

Mostly Meek Mill and Future. A lot of the new rap that comes out, I do not find too appealing.

What’s your best project or single so far?

Depending on what style of music, fast or upbeat … I’m going to go with Yola.

Any upcoming releases from you to look out for? 

Yes, my second mixtape Underway Vol.2 will be available Nov. 24, 2019.
