Who is IAMRONDO?

IAMRONDO is a songwriter and storyteller who uses his music to explore attraction, relationships, and the experiences that stay with us. His debut releases, Arakis and Love Books, introduced him to the world as an artist who writes stories and crafts narratives about the complicated connections between everyday people.

Long before sharing his music with the public, IAMRONDO was in studios creating, but kept the recordings to himself. He accumulated years of demos and lyrics that he would later develop into full songs. After years of keeping his work private, he started to share his music with the world in August 2026. A trained vocalist, IAMRONDO creates the melodies and lyrics to his music, recording guiding vocals and being directly involved in the production and instrumentation. As a songwriter, his involvement continues from the idea into the final product. He utilizes new technologies and remote collaboration to make his songs come to life in a real and authentic way.

IAMRONDO’s debut single, Arakis, released on August 14, 2026. Rooted in his passion for reggae music, the song follows a meeting between two heartbreakers who both realize the risks of their relationship, but still choose to pursue it. The song was also inspired by IAMRONDO’s father, who shaped the central character of Arakis through his charm, confidence, and ability to connect with people. The song honors his father while creating a memorable moment for listeners.

Love Books, IAMRONDO’s second single, Love Books, introduces another side to his songwriting through its blend of R&B, hip-hop, and pop music. The single follows a man captivated by a woman whose beauty conceals a world that he cannot yet understand. As he begins to uncover her secrets, a growing feeling of uncertainty rises. The image of her love books turns the act of getting to know each other into a search through pages filled with surprises and warning signs. 

Together, the two releases share a common theme of finding what draws people to each other. Arakis is about the tension that builds during flirtation, and Love Books explores the difference between the love you think will happen and what you actually get. Both songs put the listener in a situation and allow the characters to move the story forward.
