Hey, thanks for chatting with us. Tell us a little about yourself.
I grew up in a town called Belleville, IL that’s 15 minutes from St. Louis. I’m really into old technology and art and repurposing those things into my brand.
Who or what inspired you to start making music? And, when did you start?
I started getting into hip hop when I was around 13 years old remixing popular Lil Wayne songs which grew into a passion for making music.
What is your biggest challenge as an artist?
Finding the right people to work with in this industry, where many people like to scam and are unprofessional, which as an artist can set you back.
What is your favorite project or single you have released?
“Money Jump” is my favorite song so far because it shows how I have progressed as a musician with my overall rhyming skills, flow, and sound quality.
Who are your inspirations? What artists or bands are you listening to?
I love music from Memphis, Detroit, Alabama, and DFW, so some of my favorite artists to listen to are people like Big Yavo, Babytron, SSG Splurge, and Lil Double O.
What’s the process behind working on a song like?
I work best alone so it’s usually me in an empty room with my speaker playing the beat on a loop then I’ll start smoking and then the bars get to just flowing out and if the beat is really good, I can make the song pretty fast.
Tell me about your upcoming music and what inspired you to create it!
I like to rap over old instrumentals to popular songs so I did a remix to “Get Silly,” a song by V.I.C that came out 14 years ago, in an effort to create my own wave.
What are your plans for 2024?
To be able to drop more music consistently and grow my fan base so that I can start booking shows and performing at venues.
Have any shoutouts?
Shout out to my twin Jim Chow and shout out to my producer, Ryan at Bunkr Studios, and shout out to Blanco Tarantino TV.
