What’s Next From TyStringz?

TyStringz is blowing up, and for good reason. He graduated from college at 19 and earned his master’s degree at 22 and works for Microsoft as an engineer. While he writes code at night, he says his true passion is in music. And that passion has played a huge role in his authentic sound and organic success. 

His debut single, Shalaye, went #2 on the iTunes Chart Worldwide Genre, and was even more popular than Wizkid’s Essence, the most popular afrobeat song of 2021, for a couple of days. He wrote it during the pandemic while working from home, and it was the first song he’s ever written. He recently connected with afrobeat legend L.A.X and released a smash hit of a single with Shy, which has been streamed over half a million times already in a little over a month. 

He has more than 30 songs unreleased songs and plans for some to be released soon. He shared with us that he plans to release at least one more single before his EP later this year.
