Since his career began to take off in later 2017, Spell Jordan has never been shy of the camera. Thanks to the help of local videographers such as The Crate Dig and Nicholas Merkerson, Jordan was able to release stunning visuals to singles such as Two Times Are You Serious and Nuclear Love, respectively. Spell Jordan has also self-directed a number of his own videos including Runway, Childhood Sweetheart, and many more.

This month, Miami, Florida-born and Washington D.C.-based videographer and director Ben J. Allen connected with Spell and Baltimore, Maryland artist Ehzer to direct, film, and edit the music video to In My City, the duo’s first collaboration. Filmed at Dupont Circle and the old Metro station on original VHS, this is one of Spell Jordan’s most unique and authentic videos to date.

“I swear it gets loud, get beats like The Get Down” Jordan raps on the first verse – shouting out to the generation that built the genre before him. In My City premiered on Spell Jordan’s YouTube channel on March 19th, 2021 at 3 PM ET and received over 500 views in its first 24 hours.
