Downers Club Records recording artist Spell Jordan returns with his third in a series of weekly releases with Smoking Gun, another emo rap and cloud rap inspired alternative rock/rap track produced by Jordan’s go-to producer Glockley. Smoking Gun follows up on two other tracks produced by Glockley, Joker, and Bad Mood, both released in February 2020.

Smoking Gun draws comparisons between suicide and throwing one’s life away and the idea of throwing away a “smoking gun” after a crime. Jordan discusses issues with depression, anxiety, and substance use on the electric guitar heavy track.

Spell Jordan has much planned for 2020. Music videos for Miss You Love Me, featuring Spaceman Zack, and Count Me Out, are scheduled for release this Spring. Additionally, weekly releases are planned to continue until at least April. Stay tuned for more information.
