We had the chance to reconnect with Chicago, Illinois based recording artist Dee Washington to discuss what he’s been up to since we last talked. In case you missed our first interview, check it out on our blog.

How do you feel your music has changed over time?

I feel like I’ve become more versatile.

What have the biggest events in your career been thus far?

Probably performing for the first time in front of a decent crowd.

How have the people you’ve been listening to and influenced by shaped your music?

Their grind and hard work is what I pay attention to. I pretty much write to things I feel should be expressed in my life, and I try to be original.

Any artists you’re hoping to collaborate with?

Yes, I’m going to be working with Lil Bri from Rap Game, and a very talented singer named Amber Simone, and I hope to work with Post Malone.

Appreciate you talking with us again. Any new music you want to promote?

Purple Bandit, and Never Say Never!

Any messages for the world?

Yes, the only thing I am interested in is sharing my gift with the world.
