Who is Damazein?

Damazein is a rising force in the music industry with an eclectic and authentic sound. Spending his younger years in Jamaica, music shaped his upbringing. A skilled vocalist and lyricist, Damazein’s music treads the line between emo rap, pop, and rock music. His voice has been described as “airy” and “almost angelic,” as Damazein floats through cloud rap, pop, and emo rap inspired instrumentals that blend together hard hitting 808s and bone-chilling piano ballads. Songs such as the insanely catchy Faith I feel like a mix of the Kingdom Hearts soundtrack, early 2000s emo, and hyperpop perfectly blended together. “All you have to do is believe in me,” Damazein sings on Faith I. The Oath Breaker album is an introspective one that discusses themes including self-doubt, substance abuse, overcoming adversity, love won and lost, and highlights Damazein’s vulnerability.
