An Interview with PatriceLIVE
PatriceLIVE is an R&B recording artist, entrepreneur, and philanthropist based in Washington DC who has been singing since the age of 5 years old. With a unique blend of soul, pop, and rock music, PatriceLIVE is a rising star and budding icon. After getting signed to a record label in high school, PatriceLIVE has been releasing her own style of R&B music. Hey! Introduce yourself. Where are you from?
I am PatriceLIVE. I’m a singer, songwriter, band leader, entrepreneur, and philanthropist from the Washington, DC metropolitan area.
When did you start making music?
I started singing at age 5. I started singing professionally at the age of 15 when I wrote the alma mater for my high school and was signed to a record label.
Who inspired you to start making music?
I come from a musical family and I always enjoyed seeing the production of a stage show production.
How would you describe your music style?
I have a very sexy traditional R&B style but I also love to record and perform my energetic pop tunes as well.
Who are you listening to now?
I love Dixson (formerly known as Darius Scott), Samara Joy, Kevin Ross, Kiana Lede, and a ton of Christmas music!
What’s your best project or single so far?
My album entitled “Wonder Woman” featured my two top singles, to go-go infused song “Promise” and my women’s anthem “Dope Gold”. People also love my Christmas song “My Favorite Things”.
Any upcoming releases from you to look out for?
I will release a new EP in summer of 2023 and a book!
