Meet Heavenleigh Villar, an 8-year-old singing sensation that’s taking over the world! Heavenleigh Villar, a Virginia-based recording artist, is carving a place for herself in the industry. It was through covering R&B and pop hits that Heavenleigh realized she had a talent for singing. We sat down with Heavenleigh to discuss her musical journey, her style, and more.
Hey! Introduce yourself. Where are you from?
My name is Heavenleigh Villar. I’m 8 years old and from Virginia.
When did you start making music?
I have been singing since I was 3 but became more serious this last year. I have worked on covers on my YouTube Channel Hev’s Journey.
Who inspired you to start making music?
My mom and I think Ariana Grande. I love her style, kindness, and her vocal ability.
How would you describe your music style?
Pop.
Who are you listening to now?
Adele, Lauren Diagle, Powfu are in my playlist right now.
What’s your best project or cover you’ve released so far?
My cover for Rolling in the Deep by Adele.
Any upcoming releases from you to look out for?
I’m always working on new covers. I am slowly starting to write my own music, and find my style though nothing is completely finished yet.

I would give a shout out to my parents. They are always supporting me and my journey. I love my vocal coaches that help guide me and encourage me to keep going and never give up.
