Paul Rajeckas Releases Dancing Mindfulness #1
Yoga. Study. Sleep. Ambient music finds itself in the ears of listeners in those three places the most. It’s a competitive scene, and it’s hard to cut through the noise (or white noise, literally) without music that either help keep focus or get a good night’s sleep. While a performer, educator, and choreographer for over 40+ years, Paul Rajeckas has always had a passion for music. “From the moment I learned to play Light My Fire by The Doors on the piano in the 8th grade, I was inspired to share my creativity through music,” Paul reflected in a recent interview. Emerging in 2024 as a new producer, Paul Rajeckas is nothing short of talented.
From radio-friendly songs to 45-minute and 60-minute compositions, Paul has created music for yoga, study, sleep, you name it. On his newest single, Dancing Mindfulness #1, Paul Rajeckas combines ambient pads with the perfect amount of percussion alongside it. Yes you can dance to it. Yes you can study to it. That’s exactly why it’s resonating with listeners already. Paul is clearly exploring his sound. He has hinted that he may be working on more lofi tracks and may even have a collaboration or two in the future.
No matter what he has planned, we have a feeling it will be great. Paul came a long way from his debut single, Afternoon in my Hammock. Outside of music, he has created a repertory of plays and workshops that explore the relationship between personal story and how we are connected to the world we live in.
