Who is Samantha Marie?
Samantha Marie, whose real name is Samantha Marie Saglibene, is an American indie pop singer-songwriter from Florida. In 2021, she uprooted her life on the east coast and moved west to Los Angeles. It was there that Samantha grew inspired to create her own music using a strategy she calls a “five minute freestyle” that is raw, honest, and unfiltered. With her lyrics coming to her as she sings them, her music is a refreshing departure from the bubblegum pop music you hear on major radio.
Through battling her own personal struggles, including OCD and other mental health issues, Samantha has been inspired to help others who are going through similar situations. Her music gives hope to anyone fighting to overcome obstacles in their life. Her music immediately touched hearts of listeners worldwide, with her debut EP “Running In Place,” featuring her popular single “When You’re Not There”, receiving positive reviews from media outlets like Ear Milk, Rival Magazine, and others.
Following up on the success of her debut EP, Samantha Marie released her debut album, “Summers,” helping her reach over one million global streams. The album’s most popular single, “Strawberry Sensation,” has been streamed over 600,000 times alone. This single also received a music video, released on Samantha Marie’s YouTube channel and Vevo. Samantha further pushed this album with a Deluxe edition and a collection of dance remixes to songs on the album by popular producers Ruuben, Obregon, PLVTO, and Jay B.
Currently on tour promoting her album, Samantha is taking her heartfelt lyrics to stages across the United States. Her music, and social media presence of over 400,000, give young women a figure to look up to during hard times. Samantha’s music career shows that hard work, determination, and perseverance can help you overcome even the hardest challenges.
