Go Away Gray Releasing New Single on March 23
Nashville-based rock band Go Away Gray is set to release their third single, “Chicken Parm,” on March 23, 2023. The band, formed by Eric Hammell and Joseph Cosaluzzo, is known for its unique sound that blends classic and punk rock influences. Inspired by bands such as The Beatles, Whitney, Blink 182, and Red Hot Chili Peppers, the duo has been creating music together since 2015, when they played in a band called No Signal.
The band’s music creation process is distinct, incorporating new gear such as guitar pedals, plugins, amps, and guitars to build loops that are stripped down to their core elements. This method has worked wonders for the band, with their previous two singles, “Don’t String Me Along” and “Jessica” being streamed almost 50,000 times on Spotify.
“Chicken Parm” was inspired by a breakup that left the band feeling as if they needed to move on and live their lives. The song’s lyrics are an expression of the band’s nostalgia for their hometown by the beach in New Jersey, which they miss now that they are based in Nashville. The single promises to be another fantastic addition to their discography, which already boasts two successful singles.
Looking to the future, Go Away Gray plans to release at least two more singles in 2023 and embark on a tour of the east coast and nearby cities. If you’re a fan of classic and punk rock, be sure to check out Go Away Gray’s music. With their unique sound and the passion they bring to their craft, the duo is sure to impress. Be sure to mark your calendars for March 23 to hear “Chicken Parm,” and in the meantime, stream their previous singles, “Don’t String Me Along” and “Jessica” on Spotify or any other digital music platform.
