The Shape Releases Party for the End of the World
Leading up to the October 29th release of their album The Age of Doom and Fear, Connecticut-based hard rock and metal band The Shape releases their new single, Party for the End of the World. Starting off with four drum hits before powerful guitar rhythms lead the track in, The Shape put their all into this track. At an approximately three-minute run time, The Shape packages their sound into a radio-friendly hit.
Formed in 2006 by multi-instrumentalists Brian Almeida and Christopher Carlino, The Shape has been a steady and popular live force in the Connecticut, New England, and East Coast music scenes; having toured & played over 600+ shows, recorded 6 albums and an EP in the band’s 15-year existence.
The Shape will be playing this single and more from their album during their October album release tour. On October 2nd, they’ll be performing in CT at Warcockapalooza 6 at Cherry Street Station and then on October 15th, they’ll be hosting the early album release party for their album at The Cellar on Treadwell.
