An Interview with Zululove – Catching Up
We had the unique opportunity to chat with Zululove, a rising artist from Camden, Arkansas, again, for an exclusive interview. We caught up on what the artist has been up to since we last talked in 2019.
How do you feel your music has changed over time?
It’s come along way with the way I flow, actually planning how I want to write the song from just freestyling to barely getting views to people actually wanting more from me – so I say a very long way.
What have the biggest events in your career been thus far?
Getting asked for features, getting to know all kinds of engineers from around the world, and TSF Peso following me on Twitter, getting noticed by other high grade rappers is dope!
How have the people you’ve been listening to and influenced by shaped your music?
I listen to music by everyone so it influences my music by being able to know all these different styles that I relate to makes it easy to make music others can relate to. It shows me how I can express myself through music without just having one or only knowing one way to do it. It helps with me being able to have emotions in every song to be able to feel it from me to you.
Any artists you’re hoping to collaborate with?
Dozens … Kendrick Lamar J Cole Gucci Mane … all of the TSF, Sauce Walka and Peso mainly, I can go on …
Appreciate you talking with us again. Any new music you want to promote?
No problem! Thanks for having me again. Nyjai Part 1 will be dropping soon, check out Bars4sale on youtube and it will be on Spotify soon!
Any messages for the world?
I know I move slowly but I’m taking my time. Thanks for the patience, thanks for being fans, and I promise I won’t stop unless the Feds or God take me! One love!
Don’t miss out on more from Zululove. In the meantime, check out his debut project, Chapter 1: The Beginning.
