aldn, whose real name is Alden Gardner Robinson, was born on May 10, 2001 and is currently 21 years old. He is a singer and record producer from Reston, Virginia, and has been making waves in the hyperpop and indie scenes. After being introduced to Ableton at the age of 11, he found his passion for music production and recording. His tracks are incredibly versatile and consist of unique sounds and astounding instrumentals.
Benefitting from hyperpop’s rise to popularity during the pandemic, aldn already has over 500,000 monthly listeners on Spotify and 30,000 Instagram followers. Additionally, he has deals with Geffen Records, Good Luck Have Fun, and Simple Stupid Records. In July of 2021, aldn released his debut album, titled Greenhouse. This followed the release of the album’s lead single, Glittr, in 2020. Like the title implies, Glittr is a true hyperpop masterpiece consisting of staccato synth beats and autotune.
The young producer also frequently collaborates with other artists who had their come-up during the pandemic and an ever-changing social media age. Some of aldn’s frequent collaborators include Midwxst and Glaive. aldn even joined Glaive’s Old Dog, New Tricks tour in early 2022.
