New Music: Nesto – Green Light

Nesto

Since 2018, Camden, NJ-born, Fresno, CA-based rapper Nesto, born Ernesto Ramos, has been grinding hard. Since he first hit the scene, Nesto published his first full-length album, Trap on 1000, in 2020, as well as a three-part series titled Underway between 2019 and 2020. However, Nesto started the year off with a bang – and a new single.

On the Familia mixtape, presented by 520Promotions, Nesto released Green Light, the 26th track on the project. “Let me ease my mind, roll this pine, sip this brewski, bad bitch, fine as fuck” Nesto raps over ambient production and stuttering vocals. Green Light has Nesto testing out autotune for one of the first times – something new for him that he pulls off well.

Check out the Familia mixtape on Top Mixtapes! Nesto has a lot planned for 2021, including a new single, Hundreds, releasing on February 19th, and an album slated for later this year.
