An Ode to Contemporary Country Charm

Henry Joseph

In the heart of a warehouse, a new melody has come to life. American country artist Henry Joseph has recently provided an enchanting preview of his unreleased single “Two More Weeks” in a captivating warehouse session video. The song, imbued with a blend of traditional country vibes and a dash of modern pop, is set to be the talk of the town.

A Harmonious Blend

“Two More Weeks” is a masterful blend that testifies to the creative genius of Henry Joseph. The tune’s catchy chorus, intricate guitar work, and poignant lyrics are woven together, showcasing his ability to capture the essence of Southern comfort. With a voice that is as smooth as Tennessee whiskey, Henry brings traditional country motifs to life, while gracefully integrating contemporary pop elements that invite listeners of all ages to tap their feet.

The Man Behind the Music

The brain behind this mellifluous voice, Joe Lengson, has a history as rich as the fertile grounds of the Mississippi Delta. Cutting his teeth in the music business as a bass player for the metal band MyChildren MyBride, Joe made quite a splash, touring globally and securing spots on the Billboard Top 200. Not one to be pigeonholed, he explored his artistic prowess by penning his own novel “Sleeping in Parking Lots.”

As his journey continued, Joe discovered solace in the rustic, heartfelt tunes of country folk as The Woodsman’s Babe. This venture was not only a creative outlet but also a therapeutic endeavor for him. The Woodsman’s Babe fluttered through the country, signing with Autumn + Colour Records and CI Records, releasing EPs and albums that tugged at the heartstrings.

Returning to His Roots

After some time away, dabbling in photography for renowned publications such as New York Times, Vogue, and Vanity Fair, Joe couldn’t resist the siren’s call of music. In 2018, he ventured into composing piano-focused music for film and TV.

But it was the winter of 2019 that witnessed the birth of a new project that was a homecoming of sorts for Joe. He set out to encapsulate the authentic country sounds of the 1980s and 1990s that he grew up on. This journey led to the inception of the “Henry Joseph” project.

Recorded at Mondrian Studios in North Hollywood and in the country music mecca of Nashville, Tennessee, Henry Joseph is the culmination of Joe’s love for music that’s rooted in tradition yet fresh in spirit.

Looking Ahead

As the Southern sun sets painting the sky in shades of gold and amber, the country music landscape eagerly awaits the official release of “Two More Weeks”. The preview has left fans yearning for more of Henry Joseph’s mellifluous tunes.

In times when the world could use a little more warmth and connection, “Two More Weeks” promises to be a nostalgic yet refreshing breeze through the magnolia trees. So, let’s all sit tight in our rocking chairs, sipping sweet tea as we await the unveiling of what’s sure to be a timeless addition to the rich tapestry of country music.
