Manje Khan Releasing Single Backstabbing Ways on December 9

Manje-Khan

On December 9th, Manje Khan will be releasing his next official single, Backstabbing Ways. Manje Khan discusses love, loss, and a two-faced ex in this melodic and ambient alternative rap track. “I should have caught your backstabbing ways,” Manje Khan sings and raps on the hook of the song. For those who listen to Smino, Saba, and other similar artists, you’ll be right at home with Manje Khan.

For the past few years, Manje Khan has been releasing alternative hip hop and R&B music, and his most popular single, Splash!, has been streamed over 600,000 times on just Spotify. He writes catchy and fun music that is simultaneously deeply personal and profound at the same time. He just put out a single, Sweetest Pie, earlier this fall, a bubbly alternative rap song that features influences of alt-pop and rap. Manje Khan’s style has evolved over time, shifting from harder trap music to more introspective rap tracks that sound like what you’d hear on the radio.

Manje Khan’s art combines his Nigerian heritage with the American dream, with his experiences in both countries shaping him as a person and a recording artist. His music tells the story of two sides of his personality—Manje Khan, a smooth and professional harmonizer, and his alter ego Slum Kid, the interpersonal rapper. Manje Khan’s music combines soulful grooves and witty lyrics for something that people of all ages and all cultures can relate to.
