It’s out! Kayka’s newest single, La Da Da Da Da Remixed, released on all streaming platforms on Friday, May 6th. The NYC-based acoustic artist has created yet another masterpiece to be enjoyed by all. In the track, Kayak’s songwriting talents are backed by a funky and high-energy beat that will have you bouncing up and down in your seat! The music video for La Da Da Da Da Remixed also does not disappoint and fits perfectly with the tune.
We met up with Kayka earlier this year to discuss her inspiration for such versatile tracks, as well as her history as a musician. Following in the footsteps of one of her personal muses, Fleetwood Mac’s Stevie Nicks, Kayka is also a multidisciplinary musician. Starting out at just eight years old on the piano, she also plays the guitar. Kayka’s multifaceted skills also extend to composition, most notably on piano instrumentals.
