Spell Jordan and SLVG Snap on Jaws

Spell-Jordan-SLVG-Jaws

Spell Jordan and SLVG aren’t new to the phonk scene, both bringing in millions of streams alone on phonk songs such as Models and GASOLINE. The pair initially connected for the April 8th release of The Crow, the first song from the two’s upcoming EP, Movie Night. The Crow has been a successful first single, bringing in over 4,000 streams on Spotify in only 13 days. Today, Spell Jordan and SLVG drop the second single from Movie Night, Jaws. As the title of the EP suggests, each song is a reference to a movie title, this referencing the 1975 Steven Spielberg film.

Spell Jordan is a twenty-five-year-old Washington, DC transplant, originally from Philadelphia, PA. With a refined flow and clean mix, Spell Jordan continues to differentiate himself from the competition with confident bars and smart delivery. “I was juggin’ hard, no he ain’t a bitch but I’ll still cut him off” Spell Jordan raps, referencing a song from his childhood by K Camp. Spell Jordan isn’t afraid to pay homage to those who he listened to as a kid, rapping on The Crow “roll up the cash, I’m out of the Keisha” referencing the 2012 song by American rapper Cash Out.

Jaws is available on Spotify, YouTube, SoundCloud, and wherever you stream music. Want more from Spell Jordan? Read more about The Crow in this recent article.
