We sat down with Besday Evr, a buzzing Chicago-based recording artist. In this interview, we chat about Pharrell, Kanye West, and Kid Cudi inspirations, his single Super Genesis, and more.
Hey! Introduce yourself. Where are you from?
My name is Miles but I go by Besday Evr and I’m from the Chicago area.
When did you start making music?
I started making music when I was 15. I found FL Studio and started making beats and never stopped.
Who inspired you to start making music?
My inspiration is a scattered assortment of artists, but the ones that influence most were No ID, Pharrell, Kanye West, and Kid Cudi.
How would you describe your music style?
I was describe my music as a blend of chill, vibe-driven, Alternative R&B, and lo-fi Hip Hop.
Who are you listening to now?
Artists I always have on repeat are Tame Impala, Anderson Paak, Flying Lotus, and Thundercat.
What’s your best project or single so far?
I think my best single at this point would have to be Super Genesis.
Any upcoming releases from you to look out for?
I’m currently working on a new beat tape called “Aint Shit Sweet,” it’s a short EP with mostly lo-fi instrumentals to vibe to.
