Zack J is an aspiring singer and songwriter based out of India. He had been writing music for years when he decided to release his first song – Grant My Wish. Zack J has a mainstream level pop sound made for music fans all around the world. While he is a new artist his music is anything but amateur. We had the opportunity to chat with Zack J about his music, influences, and more in this exclusive interview.
Hey Zack! Where are you from?
I’m from India.
When did you start making music?
I started making music seriously 2 years ago.
Who inspired you to start making music?
I was really inspired by Justin Timberlake’s music and One Direction’s original energetic stage presence. And of course, Ed Sheeran’s genius writing style.
How would you describe your music style?
My music consists of lyrics correlating with our daily life and making you vibe at the same time. The genre of my music is not fixed but it’s more inclined towards pop.
Who are you listening to now?
I am listening to The Weeknd, Charlie Puth, Jeremy Zucker, and Pink Sweats.
What’s your best project or single so far?
I’ve only released my debut song – Grant My Wish. It isn’t my best but I’m hoping to smash in the next one.
Any upcoming releases from you to look out for?
Most probably towards the end of this year in September or October! Stay tuned.
