Summrs, whose real name is Deante Adam Johnson, is an exciting emerging recording melodic rap artist from Lafayette, Louisiana. He is a member of the Slayworld collective which consists of artists, producers, and graphic designers – including Goonie, KanKan, and Autumn! He was born on November 18, 1999, and as of date, he is 19 years old. He is signed to Victor Victor Records. While he is signed, he shared advice for independent artists in an interview with Kyle Hughes “It takes time and patience to get where you want to be. Don’t sign a dumb deal if it doesn’t benefit you,” he said.
Since 2018, Summrs has published four official projects – DEVOTION, isolation, La Dolce Vita, and Intoxicated. Summrs has begun to break into the industry more with singles like Z06 placing on Spotify playlists like Fresh Finds: Hip Hop. He has also released two mixtapes dedicated to his ex-girlfriend, Bell, titled BellWorld and BellWorld 2.
Summrs saw viral fame after an incident captured on Instagram live with an Onlyfans model named Gaby who threw a brick through his window, threatened to stab him, fought another girl in his apartment’s parking lot, and ended up arrested. This event was shared on many popular hip-hop media networks and social media influencers.
