Spell Jordan debuts the second of a number of weekly releases planned for 2020, with his latest single, Joker, produced by longtime collaborator and Pennsylvania based producer Glockley. Drawing upon the Emo Rap and Cloud Rap inspirations Jordan has become known for, Joker gives an in depth and emotional look at Jordan’s life and career thus far.
“Wasted in the dark night, baby, no joke(r)” Jordan sings on the track’s detailed and chilling verse, as he discusses substance use, depression, and other topics. Like many of Spell Jordan and Glockley’s releases, the guitar heavy trap instrumental compliments Jordan’s darker melodies perfectly.
