Hey! Introduce yourself. Where are you from?
Hello, my name is Semaj Lester better known by my stage name MAJ.
When did you start making music?
I started making music when I was about 19 years old, prior to this I was always singing, so it was only a matter of time before I started taking music seriously.
Who inspired you to start making music?
I would have to say my biggest inspiration to create music is Michael Jackson.
How would you describe your music style?
Very broad, one day I’ll sing to you, the other I’ll be rapping, and some days I can hit you with some dancehall or even reggae.
Who are you listening to now?
Chris Brown!
What’s your best project or single so far?
MAJ – Yadda Man, it’s the audio equivalent of what basement parties used to be in the 2000’s.
Any upcoming releases from you to look out for?
Yes, I have an album self-titled “MAJ” dropping 11/23/20.
