Kavai Is Blowing Up

Kavai

Kavai is about to blow up; we can tell. After a successful 2023, culminating with the explosive success of his collaboration with friend and acclaimed DJ and producer Riot Ten, Kavai continues to release hit after hit. With his first single of the year, Kavai doubles down on his catchy, melodic bars on Breeze, which might be his best solo song yet. The song is all about reflecting on your successes and grinding to achieve your dreams. With Kavai’s rapidly growing fanbase, consistency is key to striking while the iron is hot, and he’s not letting up. Want to get more familiar with Kavai? Check out this recent interview with DCR.

Kavai has a sound meant for radio and nightclubs. While some of his music leans more on the R&B, rap, or dance side of things, he effortlessly creates catchy, timeless music with ease that fits in multiple genres or none at all. This new single, Breeze is just the start for him this year. On January 19th, Kavai will be releasing a jam-packed collaboration with Washington, DC-based rapper Spell Jordan that includes features from Yurms and Surf, with the beat produced by Yurm and Synthetic, the latter of which produced Just Wanna Rock for Lil Uzi Vert.

Fans will be excited to hear that two remixes of Pink Lemonade, a sped-up version, and a slowed-down version, will drop later this year. He also plans to release a single a week for the entire year. That’s 52 singles. Starting out on a hot streak, we can’t wait to see what happens next for Kavai. Tune in to Pink Lemonade, Breeze, and the rest of Kavai’s discography on Spotify or wherever you stream music online.
