His most popular release, the 2023 EP “colorado capsule”, is a quick, three-song effort that dropped on March 31, 2023, alongside a music video. The “colorado capsule” EP was conceived during a vacation to Colorado, recorded as Kavai sings “with the crew up in the mountains,” on the first track of the EP. Kavai is proud of this release too, sharing that his “favorite project was the colorado capsule,” in a recent interview with DCR, elaborating that he “flew out (his) creative team to the mountains of Colorado and (they) recorded music, shot music videos, and captured great photos. It was an incredible bonding experience and I recommend getting out of your city to anyone that’s stuck in writer’s block,” he said.
Moving to Texas from Washington, Kavai has built a dedicated fanbase across the United States. He has already hit considerable milestones in his career, performing at SXSW and hitting the stage in front of more than 1,000 people.
