An Interview with Patricia Baloge

Patricia Baloge, the French and Ghanaian artist based in New York, is a rising star in the electronic music scene. Her unique fusion of house, afro house, afropop, R&B, and synthwave, combined with her unmistakable vocals, has been winning over audiences across the globe. Baloge’s journey to becoming a professional musician started in 2018 and since then she has released several successful single, including her latest track, Talk About It. Hey! Introduce yourself. Where are you from?

I’m from France but I live in New York.

When did you start making music?

I started singing as a child but the idea of producing and taking it to a professional level consolidated itself around 2018.

Who inspired you to start making music?

No one in particular. I just always loved music in general. 

How would you describe your music style?

(I make) a mix of House, afro sounds, pop, and synthwave but to make it simple I just call it electronic music.

My new single, Talk About It.
