Hey, thanks for chatting with us. Tell us a little about yourself.

I’m UberMan Ski, I Do Da Damn Ting! I’m your international neighborhood Uberman. I bring you what you need and take you where you want to be. I’m bringing real back to the game. I’m making niggas stand on their square, stand on their business, and stand on the words that come out of their mouths. I consider myself a savior of the game. A breath of fresh air to real niggas (KINGS) and real bitches (QUEENS) all over the world. I’m a dream liver and fantasy fulfiller.

Who or what inspired you to start making music? And, when did you start?

I first started writing down lyrics from songs like Genuine’s Pony and Master P’s Down South Hustlaz when I was 7 or 8. Then I heard Pastor Troy for the first time and I was amazed at how his words related and resonated with me even at 10 years old, I was a down south Georgia boy!

I started writing my own raps and freestyling with my young homies on the block. When I turned 15, I went to Atlanta with my cousins, Jack Frost Kevorkian and Full Circle Entertainment, and I started recording myself when they went to sleep in the studio. So I learned how to record and rap for real.

I ended up becoming an engineer and running my own studio, No Water Productions, for 10 years in Atlanta. I helped plenty of artists get their careers started. I even got to record a song with my Idol t now I’m focused on my own career as an artist. So I am here now. Get ready!

What is your biggest challenge as an artist?

My biggest challenge as an artist is monetizing my talents, and media content and promoting my brand on social media and online.

What is your favorite project or single you have released?

My single is Sorry 4 Da Wait.

Who are your inspirations? What artists or bands are you listening to?

My inspirations are the late great Pimp C. I am inspired by Nipsey Hussle and all the down south legends. I am listening to Lil Baby, Drake, and Michael Jackson, but mostly I listen to UberMan Ski and my brother MayDay PayDay.

What’s the process behind working on a song like?

I use different processes depending on the vibe and the situation. If I have a studio session, sometimes I write to a beat beforehand, and if we end up at the studio. I am always prepared to come up with a verse in 30 mins or less. If I end up in the studio with another dope artist I am always prepared to come up with a verse in 30 mins or less.

Tell me about your upcoming music and what inspired you to create it!

I’m on a three-part journey. It all starts with the album Finessin Around The City. This includes Finessin Around The City, Finessin Around the Nation, and Finessin Around the World. I was inspired to create Finessin Around The City because I lost my studio of 10 years, someone broke into my studio and stole everything. My hard drive had thousands of songs on it, so I was left with just the rough mixes of everything I ever recorded and that’s why my FDRC has a grimy feel to it because a lot of those songs didn’t get fully mixed, because I decided not to record them again.

I started “finessin around the city”, jugging, Ubering, and hustling. I made a name for myself, I started traveling to different states, thus “finessin around the nation”. Once I decided to drop my album I decided it would be a 3 part journey, Finessin Around The City, Finessin Around The Nation, and next we are going to be Finessin Around The World.

What are your plans for 2023?

My plans for 2023 are to start this journey. Just wait and see.

Have any shoutouts?

I would like to shout out to the creator of the universe, the legacy I’m creating, and everybody that helped on this journey. I do it for y’all.
