Who is Jim Rezac?

Jim Rezac is a songwriter from Delaware. He’s played guitar all his life but only discovered writing music just 12 years ago, and he hasn’t stopped writing since. He’s performed his original music in places like The Bitter End, NYC; Avalon Theater, Easton, MD; Wilmington Grand Opera House in Delaware and countless showcases in PA, DE, MD. Recently Jim won the Best Theme Song for a Podcast at the NJ Webfest, an international competition.

After countless concerts and performing with his band ChurchKey Saints, Jim began focusing on his solo music. This year, he has put out six original singles, Fall, Last Horse in the Race, UnChecked Love, All of my Love (Harry n Savannah), Smoke Rings and Halos, and Paper Cup. When asked to describe his style, Jim says his “style has elements of American roots music … a healthy dose of what people would refer to as “songwriter” tunes,” in his recent interview with DCR

His original work, the Theme Song for Muckey Landing; a sort of Podcast, was up against songs from all over the U.S. and Europe. Rezac continues as music director for the multi-award-winning podcast and when he’s not recording in his studio by the tracks, is helping others enjoy the guitar, bass, ukulele, and banjo.
