When asked to describe his style, Geno says he is “versatile. You don’t know what sound you’re going to get from me. I love being unpredictable with my music working with different flows, sounds, and even melodies. And most importantly I have a story and I’m a gifted songwriter so all my songs are a reflection of what I’m going through at that point in time.” Geno shared more insights in our recent interview. A true testament to overcoming adversity, GenoDa1 stands today as an accomplished rapper despite all the troubles he faced growing up. He began to take his passion for music, more specifically hip-hop, R&B, and urban genres, very seriously while battling his drug addictions and suicidal thoughts in 2014.
