In the late ’90s, DJ Jon Pantofel (Jonathan Pantofel), a native of Staten Island, New York, started out as a hip hop DJ/producer. He was formerly known as “DJ DOC DOOM” until he made his transition into the Electro House music scene. Today, Jon spends his days producing and mixing tracks and compilations of the hottest house music from around the world. With no less than 2 tracks released per month on BrokenRecords.us and more than 1,000,000 streams, his music is being spread around the world. Hey! Introduce yourself. Where are you from?

I’m Jon Pantofel and I’m from Staten Island, New York.

When did you start making music?

Early in the 2000s, I started making music.

Who inspired you to start making music?

DJs such as Afrojack, Hardwell, Tiesto, Laidback Luke, Chuckie, and W&W inspired me to make music.

How would you describe your music style?

I would describe my music style as a big room, main stage, progressive house, or future house.

What’s your best project or single so far?

One of my best projects is “One Life,” which was published in Vibe Magazine. 

Any upcoming releases from you to look out for?

Currently, I am working on releasing my remix of the smash hit “Ferrari”.
