Homestead native GenoDa1 is back yet again with another release in 2022. On August 5, 2022, GenoDa1 dropped his latest single, Ask Questions Later. A true testament to overcoming adversity, GenoDa1 stands today as an accomplished rapper despite all the troubles he faced growing up. He began to take his passion for music, more specifically hip-hop, R&B, and urban genres, very seriously while battling his drug addictions and suicidal thoughts in 2014.
He released his album 3am Sessions in February of this year, and it has gained a great deal of attention with over 200k streams. Fans around the world feel his authenticity and realness in his rhymes. GenoDa1 transcends genres while sharing personal stories through rap.
Additionally, he blessed fans with his popular single, OMG! Ask Questions Later is the perfect follow-up, showcasing GenoDa1’s surefire spitting over bumping trap beats. To mark his coming for the rap throne, he admonishes everyone saying, “If you don’t think I’m the best, kill yourself … go to hell.” Musical influences include Jay-Z, Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Drake, Nas, 50 Cent, J. Cole, Nipsey Hussle, Kendrick Lamar, and Wu-Tang Clan, influences that have shaped his rap style.
