Lil Man J, whose real name is Jack Benfield, is a rapper and artist from York, SC. He has been getting a lot of attention for mimicking Lil Baby. In his new song entitled “Cap Freestyle,” the white teen rapper from South Carolina sounds a lot like Lil Baby, according to some people. In response to the viral rhymer, Lil Baby finally spoke up on July 6, 2022. On a post shared by @ourgenerationmusic that shows a clip of a Lil Man J video, Lil Baby offered his thoughts in the comment section. The My Turn rapper seems genuinely stumped as to whether J was real or a parody act.
He seems serious about his goal of becoming a rap star, regardless of his efforts to sound like Lil Baby. It will be interesting to follow along with him as he progresses in his music career and to see how far he goes!
