Read more to learn about how Lost On The Way found their sound, maintains their vibe, and what they’re working on for the future.

Hey! Introduce yourself. Where are you from?

I am located in Wolfsburg, Germany.

When did you start making music?

I wrote my first song in the mid 90s.

Who inspired you to start making music?

My heart started beating for rock roll when Thunderstruck by AC/DC came out. I am also a big Springsteen and Irene Cara fan. Overall I am stuck in the past. I only listen to old music – I am so yesterday.

How would you describe your music style?

Like an AK47, old, but effective – I don’t go with any mainstream hype. I don’t even try to sound modern. My music is raw. True indie to the bone. Overall, you can say I sound like a blast from the past who will hit you in the guts. Most of my songs are a little dark and sad. Sometimes mean, like The Headless Horseman.

Anyway, if you listen to my music you will surely hear that I have my own style. Lost On The Way sounds like Lost On The Way. I don’t copy anyone.

What’s your best project or single so far?

This is hard to say, I had a few songs on the radio. One music video was even on American MTV. My biggest chart hit was Lonesome Wolf that got to spot 45 on the European indie chart. However, I would say Duty is now on the rise. I guess it is my song with the most radio spins.

Any upcoming releases from you to look out for?

Sure, on all these roads, Gone, The Wolf, Under The Underground, to name a few.

Have any shoutouts?

Lost On The Way is, foremost, a rock novella. That is how it started. I have searched for singers and guitar players all around the world to join. So thanks to all the musicians who have made this possible.
