Sasha D’Nise is an independent singer, songwriter, and actress based out of Toledo, Ohio. Over the past few years, Sasha D’Nise grew confident enough to be herself within her music, her lyrics, her image, and her production ideas – releasing four singles over the past two years – Be Alone, Drinking, On You, and Exhausted. Sasha has performed with artists such as Ciara, Ying Yang Twins, Mario Avant, and a few others.
Growing up in church, Sasha was given many opportunities to perform in front of an audience. In high school, she participated in the school choir who was, at the time, the city’s top high school choir. She also joined the band and the girls’ ensemble and was given the opportunity to perform the National Anthem in front of the entire high school.
“I come from a musical family. Growing up with my dad, who was also a singer, we would sing together daily when I was a young child. He inspired my love for Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Temptations, Stylistics, The Bee Gees, and many other quartet groups.” Sasha reflects in our recent interview.
She recently recorded a live performance and visual to 3 songs releasing on her full album this Summer, on April 11th. Sasha D’Nise will also be releasing the live performance to her 2020 single, Drinking, on her VEVO channel on April 2nd. Sasha D’Nise’s live pre-album visual will be available on all digital platforms on April 11th, 2021.
Sasha has performed at many venues in her local city and wrote and over the past few years has recorded hooks for local Ohio artists. In the midst, she practiced the art of record producing as she worked on her own music but kept her ideas to herself – until now, for she lacked confidence because she believed she was not the ideal image for an actual artist in the industry, being a plus-size artist.
Sasha is planning to take the year by storm with a full-length album and a number of videos.
