Earlier this month, Icelandic pop musician KÍTA released her first single since 2017, Things You Don’t Know on all digital streaming platforms. Assisted by a music video that has since amassed over 17,000 views on YouTube since its release on June 12th, the single went on to play on Iceland’s Rás 2 radio station, and is gaining traction on Spotify and Apple Music.
Things You Don’t Know, as well as 2017’s Mississippi, shows off KÍTA’s electronic, pop, and synthpop influences that have shaped her personal and musical style. Things You Don’t Know and Mississippi are two singles from KÍTA’s upcoming, debut album, Postponed. The eight track project is available for pre-order on iTunes and is slated to drop this July 12th at midnight.
