New Jersey’s Hip Hop and R&B scene came from a mesh of styles honed over decades in the tri-state area. New Jersey recording artist Rich Pesos has had a fruitful year. Following up on 2019’s Lights Camera Action, Rich Pesos returned in 2020 with two singles, Other Side, and Watch Over Me. This month, Rich Pesos released his third official single of 2020, Blues.
Blues discusses how a woman made Rich Pesos fall in love, and has him “singing the blues”. The single draws heavy on R&B influences, with modern trap and hip hop elements worked in throughout the track. Rich Pesos’ authentic and catchy crooning can be heard over a stellar melodic instrumental.
