An Interview with Avery Quest – Colorado, Katy Perry, and The Devil’s Angel

We had the chance to sit down with alternative singer and recording artist Avery Quest, from Colorado. Learn more about her inspirations, latest single, and more, in our exclusive interview.

Where are you from?

I’m Avery Quest and I’m from Colorado.

When did you start making music?

I started learning the piano and writing lyrics when I was nine, but I didn’t start producing music until I was eleven. I started using it as a form of therapy and it’s really helped. I’m now sixteen.

Who inspired you to start making music?

My favorite artist when I was little was Katy Perry, but later on I started listening to twenty one pilots and fell in love with darker, meaningful lyrics, with a unique sound.

How would you describe your music style?

I would describe it as alternative because I’m not afraid to explore other genres.

Who are you listening to right now?

I’m still listening to twenty one pilots, but I also love Halsey, King Princess, The 1975, Hobo Johnson, NF, and a lot more.

What’s your best project so far?

I think my first single, The Devil’s Angel, is my best project so far.

Any upcoming releases?

Yes, February 7th!

Have any shout outs?

Bella Carlson is a great musician from Colorado.

Stay tuned for Avery’s next single releasing this February, and stream The Devil’s Angel for free on YouTube!
